Viticulture - Level 2
Your team will acquire the knowledge and skills to plant, grow and tend a range of plants right through to hand harvesting, then on to grading and preparing produce for market. They’ll learn how to do all of this safely, identifying hazards and understanding safe food practices.

New Zealand Certificate in Primary Industry Skills (Horticulture) (Level 2).

Viticulture - Level 3
Your employees will explore more of the detail and science around steering a crop through to a healthy harvest. They’ll be hands on, learning how to safely use production machinery, spot diseases and pests and learn how to give and get the best through great teamwork.
They can complete this course as the first year of a NZ Apprenticeship.

Viticulture - Level 4
This is where your employees gain the skills and understanding to step up into supervising. They’ll be able to lead and manage a team, ensuring quality and productivity at every step. They’ll learn how to manage, inspire and guide those around them, ensuring the highest standards along the entire fruit production process to achieve crop production targets.
They can complete this course as the second and third year of a NZ Apprenticeship.

Viticulture Apprenticeship - Level 3 & 4
Ideal for people who are currently working in the industry with some general work experience and who have a desire to develop a career in Viticulture. Your staff will learn skills to allow them to work in a self-managed capacity with some responsibility for other staff and have an overview of key aspects of viticulture operations.

Train the trainer (short course)
This one-day interactive workshop will give your managers the skills needed to grow an effective, safe team they can rely on. They’ll learn how to motivate, train and assess team members to ensure they perform to a consistently high standard.
You must be in a role where you supervise or manage staff.

Introduction to Team Leadership – Level 3
Effective businesses are built on strong teams. With this course your employees will learn the essential fundamentals of team leadership, from inspiring team performance to understanding leadership styles.
You must be working as a part of or leading a team.

Comprehensive First Aid
This course covers all of the essentials and more. It is the minimum requirement for high risk workplaces, and it meets the Department of Labour First Aid for Workplaces standard.
Duration and start dates
The time commitment for this course is 12 hours over two days. You can choose to do the whole course in a face to face environment or mix it up with online learning. Opting for the mixed delivery gives you the choice and flexibility to complete your training when and where you choose.
Qualification
New Zealand Red Cross First Aid Certificate.

First Aid Revalidation
This 1-day course will revalidate your employees’ first aid skills, keeping their knowledge up to date and relevant.
This revalidation course is for those who have previously completed Comprehensive First Aid training, and whose two year certificate is due for renewal or has expired for no more than 3 months.

A renewed New Zealand Red Cross First Aid Certificate.
