Your team will learn all about safe work practices, the impacts of pest control and how to communicate and record information. There are Animal and Pest versions of this course and it has strands in Pest Control and Pest Monitoring. Those who complete the Pest Control strand will also learn how to prepare and use traps and toxins. The Pest Monitoring strand will teach staff to prepare for and carry out transect and inspection based population monitoring. To achieve their qualification staff will also need to undertake some vehicle training.
