Commercial Fishing - Level 3
Focused on upskilling operators in the handling, processing and packing in the commercial fishing industry, our three commercial fishing programmes have a heavy focus on hygiene, food safety and workplace safety requirements, with each stranded programme covering the key specialist skills required in either a fish and fish products, shellfish, wet fish, or frozen fish operation.
Employers of learners can customise the skills and knowledge to meet their organisational needs – this is known as a Limited Credit Package (LCP) version of this programme. Covering all the fundamental skills, LCPs are great taster courses for entry level employees providing a pathway towards a full New Zealand Certificate.
