Non-funded fee from: $2,071.51. Please note, this fee will only apply for non-funded learners – learners who are not employed in the industry, do not meet the entry requirements of the programme, or are not classed as “domestic learners” under the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) funding rules. This programme sets learners up with the foundational knowledge and skills required to be safe and confidently undertake their role. It’s a great first step before an apprenticeship.
Learning can be chosen to complement horticultural businesses working in:
- Fruit production
- Vegetable production
- Indoor production
- Nursery production
- Landscaping and construction
Valuable additions to the programme include Chainsaw courses.
