Summary
During this comprehensive programme learners will learn everything they need to know to collect and process hydrometric data. From selection and measuring techniques, to retrieval and verification processes. Learners will also learn to plan, design, operate and maintain a hydrometric station.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the programme, learners should be able to:
- design, install, verify operation of, and maintain a hydrometric operating station
- select and measure hydrometric techniques to measure and calculate open channel flow for a range of requirements
- retrieve, verify, process and archive hydrometric data
- analyse hydrometric data to provide quality assured information to users.
