Summary
This apprenticeship is ideal for people who are currently working in a distribution environment within the primary industries, have some general work experience and a desire to develop their career. Apprentices will learn skills to allow them to work in a self-managed capacity with some responsibility for other staff and have an overview of key aspects of distribution/warehouse operations.
An apprenticeship clearly demonstrates a career pathway as a learner progresses through a comprehensive training plan, and develops, sets and achieves goals related to both the programme and the workplace.
Except for the Mechanised Goods Handling optional strand, both the learning and assessments are achieved entirely on-the-job with ongoing support from workplace assessors, employers and Primary ITO throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.
The optional strand in Mechanised Goods Handling is delivered as an off-job component and training for the Mechanised Goods Handling will be organised by employers.
Apprentices will learn skills to allow them to work in a self-managed capacity with some responsibility for other staff and have an overview of key aspects of distribution/warehouse operations.
Enrol anytime, this programme takes 20 months.
