Summary
This programme is for experienced operators in either hatchery, fish or shellfish operations who are involved with stock management and other aquaculture operations.
Learners who complete the programme will be capable of implementing and monitoring staff work routines and legislative operations in an aquaculture operation.
This programme takes 12 months to complete.
Learning outcomes
Fish and Shellfish
Employees who complete the Fish and Shellfish strands will be able to implement and monitor stock management procedures and fish and shellfish farming processes in a fish farming, or shellfish farming operation with hatchery monitoring elements embedded into both programmes.
Aquaculture Diving
Graduates of the Aquaculture Diving strand will also be able to prepare, implement and review diving activities in an aquaculture diving operation.
