4098 Assessor Training

To become a Primary ITO assessor, you must hold Unit Standard 4098 – "Use standards to assess candidate performance".

Please note: Our 4098 Assessor training course is primarily for people wishing to become assessors in the Agriculture, Horticulture and Primary Services sectors only. If you do not work in these sectors, contact your relevant Industry Training Organisation (ITO) – they’ll be able to help. 

Primary ITO 4098 Course

To help you understand your responsibilities as a registered assessor and improve the quality of your assessments, we offer the following online 4098 training course through Primary ITO. 

This Tutor-led course (comprising of two sessions) will take you through the principles of assessment followed by practical requirements for you to complete workplace assessment(s) to meet the full requirements to achieve this unit standard.

Other details are:

  • Online Session One (Principles & Practices session) - Compulsory
  • Online Session Two (Follow-up session and Q&A)
  • Carry out a practical workplace assessment with your learner while being observed and verified by a Training Advisor or another assessor.
  • Course cost is $350 incl.GST. Please note 'fees-free' does not apply to this course.
