The role of the Future Pathways team involves working with schools and industry to ensure we provide relevant information and education for students who are interested in the primary industries and further support them when they leave school to seamlessly transition into employment or further education.
We offer delivery models that allow students to work towards gaining a qualification that will set them up for success, as they prepare to enter the workforce.

Gateway programme packages for senior students (years 11-13) give students a taste of a career in the primary sector. Theory work is reinforced with real-life industry work experience one day per week.
Our Trades Academy programme works alongside NCEA andYear11 to 13 students can combine their NCEA studies with the New Zealand Certificate in Primary Industry Skills Level 2.
