Summary

This micro-credential is suited for experienced dairy farm workers, who are looking to move into, or are at, a leadership/management level.

Topics covered include:

  • Implement and monitor a livestock health plan

  • Implement and monitor a livestock mating plan (breeding only)

  • Implement and monitor and livestock parturition plan.

This micro-credential takes 6 months to complete.

Learners are required to attend 5 workshop days.

This programme typically starts before calving and is offered in most regions nationally. If there are no convenient face-to-face classes near you, please still register you/your staff’s interest as we will organise classes based on interest and also have some zoom options available.
