This micro-credential is suited for experienced dairy farm workers, who are looking to move into, or are at, a leadership/management level.

Topics covered include:

  • Understanding Milk supplier standards

  • Managing milk harvesting procedure and plant maintenance

  • Livestock health.

This micro-credential takes 4 months to complete.

Learners are required to attend 1 workshop day.

Learning outcomes

Graduates will be able to:

  • manage milk harvesting to optimize operating efficiency and milking performance outcomes

  • describe milk quality industry standards

  • manage the risks to on-farm milk quality

  • manage farm dairy cleaning procedures.
