Rebate information

Every year our Primary ITO people drive up thousands of farm driveways and sit down with busy farmers and their staff, looking at how training can help support their business.

Everything we see and hear suggests that well-trained staff can help farmers get on with working ‘on the business’ knowing that staff are going to make the right calls on the farm.

2023 has dealt significant challenges to the rural sector. The impacts of inflation, steep rises in interest rates and significant weather events up and down the country have all increased uncertainty and these have been felt behind the farm gate. With this in mind we wondered how Primary ITO could ensure that you are still able to train your staff while you are dealing with a tight balance sheet.

How Primary ITO can help

For the next three months (1 May - 31 July 2023) we are offering a $500 rebate* on the fees for every staff member you sign into training with us. You can choose the programme you want your staff member/s to do and we will do the rest.

What next?

If you are interested in taking up this offer contact us here. We will come out to your farm at a time that suits you and discuss what programme would best suit your staff and your business. Please note that this is a limited offer and is available between 1 May and 31 July.

We look forward to hearing from you.

*Terms and Conditions

  1. Each staff member is eligible for the $500 rebate off any training fees of any NZQA-approved agriculture programme with the exception of vehicle and chainsaw micro-credentials or a Diploma-level programme.
  2. The $500 will be a credit note issued to offset the invoice that will be sent to you. This may mean that the programme will end up being free (if it’s a short programme) or will be a credit note to offset the invoice (if the programme costs more than $500).
  3. The credit note is not refundable for cash. It is to be used to offset part of the invoice.
  4. This offer is for all staff, whether on a resident, citizen or work visa holder.
  5. Please note, if your staff member is on a certain work visa type, some of the fees will be significantly higher than if your staff member is a resident or citizen of New Zealand. Please call us for more information.
  6. The enrolment must be signed by the employer during the 1 May 2023 to 31 July 2023 period.
