Pork
Farming pigs is different from farming other animals like sheep, cattle, deer, and goats. Pigs are not mainly grazing animals.
Their nutritional needs have to be provided by a balanced cereal-based diet. They also behave differently, have different social needs, and have a greater need for shelter.
Our programme gives you the skills to be a key part of your team, from the safe handling of pigs, to feeding and nutrition, right through to genetics and breeding programmes.
